Do my people need the app?
In-app teammates do. Your email and text contacts don’t. Email and text alerts are Pro features, and text recipients personally opt in and verify their number.
What if my phone just goes offline?
A dead battery, missing check-in, or being offline alone does not send a blocker-off alert. Busted reports deliberate turn-off actions and confirmed protection loss. Connectivity and provider availability can affect delivery.
Can they see what I’m browsing?
No browsing log is shared with your people. They see protection status and what you choose to share. The optional VPN processes domain lookups for filtering. Read the privacy details.
What if I turn the VPN off in iPhone Settings?
Settings isn’t a silent way out. During an active commitment, a detected VPN turn-off can notify your chosen people through your enabled alert channels. If the phone is offline, a queued report may retry when connectivity returns. Detection and delivery aren’t guaranteed to be immediate.
What happens when Screen Time is off?
The optional Pro VPN is a separate layer of adult-site filtering. Turning off Screen Time does not itself turn off the VPN. Filtering has limits, especially inside mixed-content apps. See how the VPN works.
